Blueprint For Sale. Poem by CAROLINE TUBBS

Blueprint For Sale.

Now man has the blueprint for human beings,
Will he use it to benifit mankind?
Will he take out the selfish gene and the criminal gene?
And replace it with the gene for love?
In taking out the genes that carry diseases,
Or unwanted characteristics,
Will we lose our uniqueness?
Will we lose the strengh to rise above difficult situations?
Will we become robots in a simulated world?
