Blue Sails Poem by Kimberly Joyce Roguis

Blue Sails

The dusts and stains
in the corners of this room
reminds me of what my heart
once was.
And ‘was' is a word
I like repeating
the fact it defied
too many storms

So now to sail shall we go
daring the waves and
embracing our fears
rowing along the tides

With my only sailor by my side.
