Blue Islands Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Blue Islands

Nubian mermaids rise with ice eyes
Snow glares on tamarack and pines
Respite the glowing land of Neptune
Reverb the guitars without rules
Light and sound rejoice everywhere
Radiant notes on fire with moon glare
Prayer travels the stars everyday
Ships visit the distant Milky Way

Pause into an ancient corridor of Dali
Everything breathing under the gold sea
Being, smooth like a mountain rivers cry
Your clocks mean nothing to the sky
Have you seen the dolphins swim free
What is time without your dreams?
Bliss the rest of bold eternal wings
Blow free you joyful stardust winds

I feel the wondrous blue islands
