Blue Is My Colour

Rating: 5.0

It's the harmony of a royal parade
That resonates through the glade
The wind and trees tango in glorious bliss
While the blue skies and the blue ocean kiss
In a warm embrace, that smoothes a chaotic world
With purity these meditative scenes unfurl

Topaz and sapphire always the prize
Revealing amity through those blue eyes
With clarity I found some solitude
And the hue brought me back renewed
As the moon rode the blue clouds at twilight
Revealing, to me, this noble highlight

And again I choose the blue, the banker’s colour
The truth and the conservative flavour
Azure, beryl, cerulean, cyan, indigo, Stale, navy and royal blue
Any day could make my crew
Cornflower, midnight, robin’s egg, steel and Prussian blue enter my blue book
At dusk, when the night sleeps, play the blues to take me off the hook
