Blue Eyed House Poem by Jordyn Averitte

Blue Eyed House

Rating: 3.5

Sad and lonely house
Settling despite the wind
Friend to only one;
A blue eyed, blonde little kid

He came and he played
Never left during the day
House wasn't so sad
Until this one fateful May

Looking at the sun
The boy had laid in the road
Then a speeding truck
Which held quite a frightful load

He was unaware
While the truck came down to rid
Upon only one;
The blue eyed, blond little kid.
