Blue-Bird Poem by Tsira Gogeshvili

Blue-Bird

Rating: 4.3

Three days cried a rain.
Three days wandered winds...
Three days caressed the sun...
Three days - smiled a cactus.

Three days - doesn't sing in heart
The cheerful and smaller blue bird.
So the winter will not leave us...
Yes, as the spring will forget us...

The blue-bird is indeed the perfect metaphor for the return of spring. A highly original and imaginative expression of winter's never-ending journey. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

An enchanting write, Tsira. Sometime Spring seems a long time coming, but never fear, the bluebird will return. As with all you poems, this was a pleasure to read, my friend. Thanks Richard
