Bloom Poem by Sandra Feldman

Bloom

A poem
Can also be a flower,
It's verses soft petals,
Looking for more room,
Blooming notions,
Thoughts that settle,
And express,
The heart's own tune,
In full bloom,
Reaching for the moon.

I like the imagery and the gentleness that seems to be behind how poetry comes about. I could never write like this but I sure appreciate this poem.

I wrote this after reading your wonderful haiku, Spring. So the moon, flower and poem, really belong to you. Thanks!

A poem a flower, a flower a poem. Both reaching and obtaining the moon
