From mountains of love
To valleys of despair
We make the trek
Forget what we see along the way
Like the trucker on the highway
Point B, Point A
Money in the wallet
Get on with your day

From the mothers womb
To the hole in the ground
We master our plan
Don’t know what we are doing
Like the actor on the screen
Say your lines
Smile for the camera
Who cares what it means

From clouds in the sky
To waves in the sea
We exist in the world
You woulda thought it was bigger
Like cows in the pasture
Eyes on the ground
Food in the belly
What more need be seen
