Bliss in Slumber

Monday morning visions arise
Aching and disdain never to cease
Thoughts fluid on boundaries of seat
Mind bending to the will of the weak;

Awaken to the frightful feeling of heat
How dreams may come yet better this day
Than the ones I love when lying in wonder;
Bliss in slumber, only to tear reality asunder.
