Blind To The Signs Poem by Chris Lane

Blind To The Signs

With so many signs to read
Visual pollution in the form of advertising
Appear as deviations
As we pass from place to place

In an effort to hijack the mind
Banners fill the space
Is it any surprise
We choose to ignore them

Not unlike a Pirates flag
Which may be cause for alarm
Visual pollution has caused us
To become blind to the signs
