Blind Faith Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Blind Faith

Rating: 5.0

When we just close our eye's
to things that are real
we also close our heart
to what we should feel
just a begger left to steal

We lose sight of love
and to our Creator above
we walk afraid and alone
unable not to believe
in what is the unknown

We forget the joy of tomorrow
drown in the pain and sorrow
and watch our soul slowly die
with blind faith we cry
and watch life just pass us by

So we hide behind the lies
that tears us apart
unable to see what is true
that stares us in the face
in blind faith we decieve
with nothing left but to grieve

And so we become lost children
trying to find our way again
to that forgotten place
beyond the stars and space
that was meant for me and you
