Fabulously descriptive! Reminding me of futility and frugality of emotion... of the wishing that one wasn't where one happened to be at the moment... I can relate heavily having just come from that place earlier this evening.... Very well penned... Touché Sir! (Report) Reply

Have been reading your poetry tonight, get lost in some of it. The way you write, taking thoughts and putting them together
eventually paints a picture at the end. Very nice. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Haha this one was good too. Sort of reminded me of someone going on a date getting wasted remembering a kiss and some other moments then the rest of the moments are completely lost. locked away in the subconscious as you got to drunk to recall the rest of the date. Not saying that was the case here but that is what I took from it and it reminded me of some experiences like that I have had many years ago. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet James Whitcomb Riley

When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock
And you hear the kyouck and gobble of the struttin' turkey cock
And the clackin' of the guineys, and the cluckin' of the hens
