Blind Poem by Paula Glynn

Blind

Rating: 4.0

I was blind, now I can see,
I could never see your lies,
Your curse and your tricks,
You were a clever trickster,
Always laughing behind my back,
For I was the sad and sorry fool.

If I could have my time back,
I wouldn't, because I learnt,
To see the real you:
A liar, a braggart, a thief,
And you gave me so much grief.

You lied to my face,
You tripped me up,
Caught me unawares,
And told me I was wrong;
Told me I should trust you.

You had me deceived,
I was a puppet on a string,
And now your words,
Don't mean a thing,
This relationship over,
These games never again to be.

As I look around,
I have my eyes open,
And I keep my feet,
On solid ground,
For I no longer have my head,
In the clouds.

But I still love,
I still feel hope,
But when it comes to you,
I will never again be your fool.

But I still love, I still feel hope, But when it comes to you, I will never again be your fool. A beautiful love poem which reflects the darker side of lover with hope to be out.Wonderful write Col Muhammad Khalid Khan
