Blessings Poem by Megan Lee

Blessings

Every night it seems
I cry myself to sleep
Whether it be
For broken or new
I count every blessing
Been given to me
Bestowed upon me
Everything I live for
Amazing friends
Loving family
The ability to wake
Every morning
A home, a heart
And hope
For where ever I go
He looks over
And guides my way
Even when all I do
Is dream
Dream about one day
Having my name in lights
Performing for thousands
Accepting the award
And in my speech
I count my blessings
As I do now
Each and every night
