Blessed We Are Poem by Neela Nath Das

Blessed We Are

Rating: 4.8

My motherland gives me
The taste of every season.
After autumn, the leaves
Of the tree near my window
Starts shedding leaves.
A wave of cool breeze dances
Around the garden behind the yard.
The sun takes part soon closing
The doors of light and heat.
One fine morning I stretch
My look but eyes can not
Catch the lines of mountains.
Their blue turns blurred by dense fog.
Fun, fair, fest, circus make our
Mood light and carefree.
People of all age groups go
To picnic to enjoy the air
Of this lovely season.
Blessed we are that we
Can feel the moods of
Six seasons with their
Every beat of jubilation.
