Blessed Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Blessed

Blessed are the sheep who find The way
Who hear their Master’s voice
Who walk in faith meekly obey
And make His Son their choice

Blessed are the lowly, true and meek
The children thirsting now
The hungry souls who Jesus seek
Before His feet to bow

Blessed by The Lord are king and queen
With humble heart contrite
Who put Christ first, last, in-between
Walking The Way that’s right

All these are named in Jesus’ hand
All these will gain respect
Rising to walk The Promised Land
Like all of God’s elect

Like all the saints who’ve gone before
Like all who’ve loved God true
Like all the rich like all the poor
Who’ve died through birth anew

Let’s live and learn through Jesus’ love
Walk as our God commands
Serving His Son enthroned above
Whilst in His mighty hands

Receive The Truth, God’s gift of grace
Sample His awesome might
Speak to The Father face to face
Walking within The Light

I’m more than blessed my soul is free
I’ve answered Heaven’s call
I’m more then blessed one day to see
The One who did it all
