Bleery Eyes Poem by Bull Hawking

Bleery Eyes

In the mild humidity
of a summer Sunday morn
laziness hangs like a blanket
over the dock
not tucked in debauchery
just a down payment
on implacable thirst of Sol
bleary eyes coveting every molecule
of moisture on its wobble ride
across an azure bowl
