Bleeding Still Poem by Autumn Winds

Bleeding Still

Distorted vision
Through a clear glass
Rainbows bounce
Through cut crystal
Untouched by cloying black
That spreads through
Like a wild fire
Veins of red bleed out
Making butterfly wings
Stars descend
Angels freefalling
Embracing a dance with the devil
Vines with thorns
Tear through illusions of thought
Of freedom
Eyes of blue
Eyes unblinking
Stare at you as if dissecting
Warmth from the fire
Slowly gives up in the midst of snow
Drops make ripples through the once
Undisturbed water
Set in stone
Awating forever
Hearts bleed still
