Bleeding Poem by Yamini Khanna

Bleeding

Rating: 5.0

Heart pierced, fluttering listless and bleeding
why don't my tears stay in their housing,
they roll at the fleeting thoughts of my man having gone astray
why then would he write words with which he once used to sweep me off my feet up and away

The imagery of 'words drawn from the heart' of the tumultous past
have the eyes well up again, for the same eyes he once wrote and sketched
mourning i am, the death of this relationship, at flag half mast
the hurt, grief and pain of rememberance deeply, in my heart etched

What can mend my heart, the potion, i donot know
'Love for him i lost ', he says, the notion, i donot know

Loved him to the core, stood by him, to see his ship ashore
Love me he should, more intense, more real unconditionally than before
Let the world sing this fable, of two love birds rediscovering their melodious love encore
The tears rolling, ever unstoppable ONLY for the Joys of Love and Union stronger than before.

Loved him intensely, forgot my soul
winds of change left me shivery and cold
Make me smile, make me laugh... ain't room for anymore tricks
Time, Space, Emotions merged together to make my heart Flip

Hard to mend a broken heart. Your heart feels up and down. Confused. Time, Space Emotions merged together, to make it (your) heart flip Good.
