Blank pages
mock
my overcrowded mind
full of thoughts unwanted
& I become better acquainted with stress
smiles have downgraded to slight smirks
and depression becomes CEO of this
business I call 'my body'
Estrogen is in oveproduction
as I become more emotional and more often do
tears meet satin sheets
but testosterone has been the advocate for
fist meetinbg walls and boreing holes
butterflies and unicorns have soon become
paintings of dark skies, gray clouds, raining daggers and dead flowers
unlucky me
4 leaf clovers and horse shoes couldn't even begin to mend the cracks that pain has left
and no scotch tape could ever fully fix what is bound to break
so..
in a dimly lit room she sits
writing stories about a happiness that once was..
the silence adds to the suspense
of a heart once hopeful
now on exile to find
what once filled it's empty void
& overbearing darkness in a once
bright soul
is slowly pulling this girl
down in it
