Blank And Vacant Poem by Savita Tyagi

Blank And Vacant

This empty feeling blanketing the mind
Like back sludge covering
The crystal clear water
Eventually floats away
But while it stays I live
In an unending dark zone
Of sad confusion and where about
Like those moon less and starless dark nights
When all is taken over by the black sky
Darkness all around
Not frightening
Just lifeless and vacant.

A startling portrayal of your mind's darkness- I like it!

yes there are some moments which separates the life from main stream and zeoperdise the life for a spell, but just after those dark patch with dark sky an abundant blue sky is waiting to welcome and endear you., Savita! ! !

There are moments when we feel a vacuum within.... It is so natural. But make a conscious effort to come out of this dark zone! A poignant write!

You have done well to describe that void, I am sure we have all entered, at one time or another...that stillness that knows no true time or space, merely darkness, empty and encasing. Your poem illuminates that it is just temporary...good write! PEACE

Empty feeling is nicely put in words. Reaching the state of emptiness is sometimes necessary to rejuvenate. Nice poem. Thank you.

No doubt it's a nice poem, but I think a mind is never blank. You know it well even when conscious is sleeping or dormant, subconscious and unconscious go on, or otherwise I could not understand the poem.
