Blackness Devours Poem by kara towe

Blackness Devours

Flash!
A clap of penetrating sound!
Spider rods of blinding light assemble.
Gone in a instant, blackness devours.
Tapping, tapping, pitter, patting.
Flash!
Gone in a instant, blackness devours..
A clap of penetrating sound!
Rolling echos ripple.
Tapping, tapping, pitter, patting.
Trickle, trickle, streaming gently.
Flash! !
Gone in a instant, blackness devours.
A clap of penetrating sound!
Rush, rush, push, and howl.
Beating, beating.
Flash! ! !
Brilliant jagged rod!
Gone in a instant, blackness devours.
Crushing sound!
Rumbling, echos resound!
Pelting, pelting, pound!
Rushing, rushing, down!
Flash! ! !
Brilliant jagged rod!
Gone in a instant, blackness devours.
Enormous rushing sound!
Flash!
Gone in a instant, blackness devours..
A clap of penetrating sound!
Rolling echos ripple.
Tapping, tapping, pitter, patting.
Trickle, trickle, streaming gently.
Blackness devours.
Abruptly, silent stills.
