BLACK Shadow

I’m In No Race Today
To Take Your Place
In No Hurry
To Follow Your Daytime Charade
That Dark Shadow
Yeah No Shadow, Nothing In My Face
This Day
..And This I Contain…Just Let Me Explain

No One Needs Your Dark Faces
Looking Down
Anywhere Around
Everybody’s Already Seen
Yeah Everyone Knows
Owns
Personal Dark Places
Their Own Dark Faces
Even On Their Ground
I Have Found

Just Follow Your Own Black Shadow
Yeah Your Own Black Shadow
Needs, Yeah Feeds
Owns Only You
Only You Today
This I Am Sorry To Say

The Black Shadow Comes Crawling
Crawling Back To Your Door
Black Shadow, Back To Shock
…And Back To Lock, Lock You Again
Yeah To Nail Your Head To The Floor

Your Black Shadow Comes Running
Always Running, Always Ruining
Yeah Ruining Your Core
Returning Your Call
Black Shadow Comes Running
Always Back For More
Even If He, Is The Only One To Fall

Why Did You Go Back For More
How Could You
Yeah How Did You Open His Door

Try To Look Forward My Friend
Not Just Straight Ahead
Even If It Sounds Like A Lie
A Black Shadow Will Always Try
Try To Confuse
Try To Consume
If You Listen To It All...And Follow His Call
If You’re Listening To The End
You Just Might End Up Dead
…And Your Black Shadow Will Just
Replace Your Head

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
