Black Mother Poem by Chris 'N' John

Black Mother

Gone is your peace
The peacefulness of your terrain
Gone is your joy
The joy of your offsprings
Gone is your love
The love of your children
Gone is your pride
The pride of your culture

Oh the delusion of a peace
The debris of your blood
With air filled boom and cra...crater
Now the person of your race

Where is your wisdom
The wisdom that made you master
Where is your knowledge
The knowledge that made you the different
Where is your understanding
The understanding that brought you unity
Where is your courage
The courage that made you stronger

Oh that there be
That there be pronto dramatic reversal
The reversal of agony
The agony of your children

Oh what a shame
How so deep you sleep
Arise stop this madness
For you alone can

Black mother arise
