Black Leaf Poem by Job Laz

Black Leaf

Sailing upon the oceans of words
Spoken by her wild countenance
Makes my heart coddle my eyes,
For her charm glues my eyes
With tenderness like a petal
Stirring the portion of my admiration,

In disarray she often leaves me
A slave to her growing grace
Which flags the air like a kite?
To bond my once sour breath
Underneath the weight of her comely clicks,

Daily her face I behold
Roving the edge of my keen mind
Starting a fare strike against my affectionate touch
That simmers warmly like a black leaf.

For a title that sounds quite stark, this poem has a fine romantic countenance! Every line beautifully written. 'comely clicks' brilliant. Greedily eating up your poetry with a smile from Tai
