Black Heart Poem by The Immortal Resilience

Black Heart

I feel the ice creeping into my soul.
I feel the ice creeping through my skin.

I feel the flames surround me.
I feel the flames feed on my flesh.

As i grow cold as stone, hard as rock,
No one can come close to me. For i will
Shred them to pieces with my words of hate,
With my black heart.

I feel the ice creeping into my heart.
I feel the ice creating a black hole.

I feel the flames pierce inward, filling my body.
I feel the flames burn my skin to a crisp.

As the fire grows hotter, i become colder.
And finally the warmth of the fire reaches my heart.
The fire stampedes through the depths of my soul,
Burning every corner of my mind harboring
Wickedness. Burning every corner of my mind
Where wickedness clings.

For though my skin is rough and charred,
And the bones of my body shine bluntly,
The end justified the sacrfice.

I am cleansed
I am free of hatred, distrust.
I am free if resentment, depression.
I am free of everything.
I am free.
