Black Day Of Karnataka (9/8/09) Poem by Vikram G. Aarella

Black Day Of Karnataka (9/8/09)

Rating: 4.5

He is an idiot of a chief minister
has brought tragedy on the state
He and his thoughts are sinister
as he comes from a clan of third rate.

He has dishonoured my mother tongue
he has shamed my mother land
I will slap his face with cow dung
remove the statue is my demand.

Who the heck is Thiruvalluvar to us
haven't we got enough of our own
You have lost your pride I guess
follower of Basavanna the clown

Kannadigas will never forgive you
for bringing on us such a shame
Stooge of your community swamijis few
Is this your claim to fame?

Is this for? Mayura and Kadambas fought
Is this for? Chalukyas chased Cholas out
Is this the lesson history has taught
You are a real psycho no doubt

Statue of a Tamil poet is being unvieled today(09/08/09) in the capital of Kannada land, by a gutless, spineless Chief Minister. Black day in the history of Karnataka for me. Shame on you Yeddy go and lick your swamiji's feet.

Some psycho has written this. What did you learnt from history? Don, t fight for language, land, religion. Every language, land, religion has it's own greatness.

I guess this is a good and excellent piece of work. However, I don't know much of your country's history. I know you're fighting corruption just like in any other country, like mine for example we encountered lots of problem especially corrupt public officials. I'm very sad of this incorrigible situation.
