Bitter Skies
Heaven on my skin,
Hell in their eyes,
Everything we are within,
No need to improvise.
Unlocking the mysteries of the world,
Only to doubt its true worth.
Perpetuating a myth of disaster,
To find nothing there after.
Feeling everything that hurts,
Of messages from another universe.
When your words get into the way of who I want to be,
Until all the secrets are then cast into the deepest sea.
