Bitter Memories Poem by Jesse Artley

Bitter Memories

You want me to give you my best,
But won't give me any better then your worst
I just don't see the point in trying anymore
Seems as if you've already slammed the door
In my face
How did we even get to this place?
It must've been when you stopped trying
Now I'm here, more worried about dying
Even if you won't be there for me,
I'll always be here for you.
It seems I'm blessed with this curse,
My love for you will leave me in a hearse.
