Bitter Kisses Poem by Juan Olivarez

Bitter Kisses

Rating: 5.0

Bitter as a lemon,
With acid so sour.
Were the kisses you would bestow.
At the midnight hour.

Bitter as a cold wind,
Blowing through my heart.
Your bitter kisses,
Made my love depart.

A deceitful woman,
With kisses of ice.
Made a fool of me,
Right before my eyes.

Bitter kisses that my heart can't forget,
Bitter kisses that linger yet.

Written with the inspiration provided by my friend the great poet from India, Pranab Chakraborty and to whom I dedicate with admiration.Juan olivarez.
