Bitter Displeasure Poem by Mariska MTAA

Bitter Displeasure

What a saddest destruction
That came from this attraction
Being pulled by his ambitions
you pushed with your distractions

Mindless battles
These wars you fight
Childishness clinging
Causing you nothing... but Bitter displeasure

Uprooted all familiarity
Tempt you into sleep
Distastefully, object
testing his maturity

Unfolding into regret
Painfully looking back
To mindless battles
My war he never fought

Testing certainty
Disrespecting boundaries
Childishness clinging
Causing you nothing... but Bitter displeasure

Stranded in consequence
Left in belated honesty
Lessons learned inevitable
As timing, Impeccable
Torn by every memory
Hoping out of growing
That I will not remain
Stained by bitter displeasure.
