Birthdays are fun to celebrate
Parties and ice cream and presents and cake
The best part of parties on your special day
Is friends coming over just to stay

There is a worst part of parties too
When your friends say goodbye to you
When the party is all over and the day is done
Its time to go to bed and end all the fun
