Birthday For Dad
Daddy's little girl that would be me
Regardless how old I get this will always be
From my childhood to adulthood you have always been there
You are someone special to me whom I will never share
I thank you for being here for all my ups and downs
Knowing how I brought you smiles as well as brought you frowns
Today I am grateful for having you as we grow older
Knowing still today I have your warm and loving shoulder

a highly emotional homage to all Dads of this sweet lil planet, i feel. true, innocent and reminder kind of expression. though not much of any poetic convention followed, the theme itself justified its glorious presence splendidly. sweet expression, authentic too. rgds.
