Binoculars



I looked at you through my binoculars,
And what did I see?
My, your soul's permanence and softness.
I saw your sweet affect too.

I looked at you through my binoculars,
I saw a girl, swirling in the sand,
Then dashing through the soft green blades of grass.
I fell for your soft image on the binoculars.

I looked at you through my binoculars,
And I saw a girl's soothing, soft skin, so innocent,
So remote from the world's chicanery.
You filled my binocular with joy,
