Beyond The Veil Poem by Joseph Cross

Beyond The Veil

Rating: 4.0

Beyond the veil, there is a land
Of naught but pain and sorrow,
Filled with all the loved ones lost,
Their hearts and spirits borrowed.

The ones we’ve lost cannot come back,
There is no ease for the pain,
But just remember in your heart,
You will see them again.

Though it eats away inside you,
Though your heart may break,
There is no soul upon this Earth,
That God above will not take.

They all lie just beyond the veil,
Somewhere out of sight,
But you will see them again,
When you head toward the light.

Nicely written, easily recommended. The kind I wish I read every time. GW62
