Beyond The Thoughts Poem by M D Dinesh Nair

Beyond The Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

Beyond the thoughts, I confess
I mourn not, I weep not
With tears even receding for once.
Nameless death of others leaves no false tears in my eyes!
And those foul epithets once I frenzied on
Have begun to be the memoirs within a college
The corridors of which I once frequented.

Is simply a prayer needed now
To be made before a God unknown?
For many a childless truth
I shall begin to be answerable then!
No, that is not the way,
See the Siberian birds flying high
They return at the fag end! Just a relief!

Now is the time to remember the movement of truth
That may stride into the chambers of others
Beating a drum made of a poor deer dead.
Soon they will come to embrace me
Eyes must find out the old path
And I may travel on it once more
As I do not know how to perform miracles.

But unknown crowds too are at my door.
These men take no rest ever?
I have my own strain begun...
The questions are never answered flawlessly.
Shall I lie on a cross
And ask someone to nail me on it?
But where is my father above?

Your thoughts are beyond the level of raising any question. Let alone the answer. Beautiful lines.

Deep, brooding thoughts of a road traveled long ago, what you have achieved gives you no answers no conclusion to the puzzle that is life as you search for a messiah to save you from your disillusionment! Superb write! If you have time could you read and comment on my new poem ''Through Nature's Window'

Beautiful poem but this poem is Beyond my thoughts of understanding. Still I will make a try. Please do correct it.. First Stanza....Why to show false tears, when one don't feel any emotion to it. There are people who gain a lot either sympathy or power by showing it. Second stanza... A simple prayer, that everything will be alright by tomorrow. But when one wake up, one find sailing in the same boat if not caught by storms. Which power is going to save? Can a prayer save one? Third Stanza...Poor deer is dead, as it couldn't bear the heavy beats of drum. It couldn't catch up with life and it gave up its life. Now people are visiting which power to bring it back to life...Yes, to the one who show miracles as seen in T.V. Last Stanza...Unknown crowds are there in door steps means they believe you are blessed with some power to show miracles. If one couldn't meet with expectation of people, surely no one but they are quiet enough to nail. Sir, may be I am wrong in judging it, but I think it this way. But definitely please do write notes regarding this poem. I loved reading it.

Though I was unable to reach me to that level, still I feel that Dinesh - yes, there is some logic in your thoughts and thinking. Eloquently you spoke about your thoughts what I respect and let me realize that enabling me to agree with you.

Too abstract a philosophy far above my understanding....... but beautiful diction giving the impression that it contains some abstruse truths!
