Beyond The Stars Poem by Ellis Einhorn

Beyond The Stars

In the depths of solitude, I long for your voice,
For there's a balance of energy when our souls rejoice.
As the sky embraces the darkest hour of night,
I find solace in knowing you'll soon be in sight.

I see a glow in the corner of my eye,
A flicker of hope, a bittersweet sigh,
To hear your words or bid me goodnight,
Instead, I ponder what wrongs I must right.

Insecurities fade with the thought of our kiss,
Lighting up the darkest nights with bliss.
Enjoy your trip and watch out for the creeps,
As I put aside my worries to peacefully sleep.
