Beyond A Window Poem by ayam Rose Estelle

Beyond A Window

Beyond her window, behind her house.
You and me, in the night,
Under the stars, all so bright.
Only understood, promise I’ll be good.

Breath is hot, hands are cold.
Hold my hand, not cold anymore.
I need the warmth, nothing to ignore.
Sitting next to you, making my heart soar.

Black blur, against your cheek.
Seeing you smile makes my knees so weak.
I quickly standing to feet,
Run inside, there’s no more heat.

Will this memory stay beyond her window?
In the depths of the dark, everything shallow.
Temperature finally drops to zero.

You take my hand. Everything is suddenly warm.
