Beyond

Yes, I knew your love was true
I saw it in your eyes
I felt it in your hugs
I tasted it in your kiss
and even in death it lingered.

Yes, your love haunts
caresses me in my slumber
as though you are beside me
sharing sweet moments together
for true love lives beyond the living.

When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
