Bewildered Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Bewildered

Vulnerable and feeling alone
Helplessness taunts your mind
Thinking at times your hearts of stone
And darkness keeps you blind

Seek Jesus deeper precious one
Commit more thought to light
As servant to your Father’s Son
Receive love’s garb of white

Receive the ring of power child
To Heaven’s door the key
Rejoicing now you’re reconciled
God’s secret things to see

Come join the ranks of Truth and love
Connect with God’s elite
Prepare yourself for life above
Faithful at Jesus’ feet

Involve yourself within the bride
Devote more time to prayer
Give to The Flame kindled inside
All darkness had to share

All ties and chains are broken now
God’s Lamb has brought release
To Him all darkness had to bow
That’s robbed your life of peace

Let no one treat you as a fool
Whilst righteousness you seek
You are to God a valued jewel
To Christ a lamb unique

Be brave be strong as Heaven planned
Let love vanquish fears
Reach out in faith for Jesus’ hand
Who’ll dry all your tears
