Between Heart And Mind
In pain and in despair,
The Ego is weak,
Still, it is in ego and in vanity
Enough of malice to challenge the good,
Knocking the door of vengeance
Then, commiserating the Self.
The naked eye
Sees with the mind
A reality with presumed unfolding;
The real path,
The path of truth:
It is in Heart—
Guidance towards Light:
Feel its sparkle
Pulsing in your chest,
For the eyes of Mind
Are almost blind.
