Every day brings something new
Some small fraction that goes unnoticed
But tonight that’s just not the case
It feels as if part of my world has been ripped away
It makes me realize how much it meant to me
Something I cherished but wouldn’t accept that I loved
The feeling the questions the fear
It won’t stop building
This place seems so empty
And I can’t stop searching
I wish they were lying
Because my hope is dying
I’m still expecting to see you there
now realizing you’re the only reason I come here
I fight back the tears
For memories that have been
And dreams that won’t come true
It’s still sinking in
Doesn’t matter to me how
Just that it happened
Never realized how your simple smiles pulled me through
Secret messages and hidden affection
I guess every one saw it but me and you
I don’t want this to be happening
At the end we always think about the beginning
I just wonder about the in between
