Better Then Me
I really miss that look in your eyes
That one that seems to be holding a secret
The way you smiled over at me
I really miss your seeing your face
How could you have stayed so long?
After all the lies I used to say
And all of the things i used to do
I think it's because you are so much better than I.
I miss your touch,
so warm and full of love.
That one thing i could never tell you i had.
I'm glad you left because your better than me.

It is not that she is better than you but that she was totally different and most likely you did things to her that she no longer could tolerate. The irony of life is that many times we don't really appreciate the good people we share precious moments with until it is too little, too late. Well, this is the ways we learn from our mistakes and then move on toward new horizons!
