Better Then Me Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Better Then Me

They're hiding things from me...
again.
What are they hiding?
Please, let me help.
Don't hold this all
on your shoulders.
Don't be like me.
Holding it all up
all by yourself
is hard.
It wears you down.
It starts at the edges,
wearing them down,
making them go ragged.
Then it spreads.
And it doesn't stop.
It's like a virus,
the infection will spread
through you like wild fire.
Just like me.
But you're stronger than that.
You're better than me,
you can hold your head up high
over those waters that I can't.
Don't try to be
the brick wall
that everyone leans on.
Because brick walls crumble huney,
and I won't let you fall.
I won't let you
be like me.
Stay strong sweetie.
