Yes, we will do the same
all what you did to make
time worthwhile, love valuable.
we will do it in double measure
to see the wide grin of pride
on the faces of our kindred,
we will bear and rear a humanity
with elevated sense of valor,
we will tame animals and birds
that don't abandon their masters,
we will grow seeds and flowers
that bear fruits for generations,
we will make friends with enemies
if cordiality can divert animosity,
we will build bridges of comfort
if compliance invokes harmony,
we will impose no barriers
if our successors need their privileges,
we will divide no sanctums
if worship needs unity of prayers;
and above all we will do everything
more righteously than you
so that without hesitation,
without punishment,
God accepts our souls in heaven.
