danger stranger walking through the door
were did a stranger come from all
the way out here in avalon

so stranger you bring to avalon
news of grave and sad of tale
the king is dead the king is dead

how did it happen how did he die
this mighty king so high
a stranger killed him so you say

a discripton if you may of this
stranger so you say
why it sounds as if you
were him who killed a king

death comes stranger to you
repent tell the name of the one
who hired a stranger to kill a king
so betray is his name you say

hear me stranger who killed a king
for betray is my name
and now you follow the king
you killed.
