Watching a little girl sleep

Would pay my life not to see her weep

What could she be thinking of right now?

Building a castle or milking a cow?

Yeah right! she is just thinking of love

World made up of a butterfly and a dove

Oh! she opened her eyes and looked at me

She felt safe when i looked back at thee

She closed them and went back to he own planet

Just smiled, wow, a smile stronger than any magnet

For I couldn't stop looking at her

Feeling her tenderness... smelling her hair...

I bent down and whispered in her ears

'Don't grow up, for all u will witness is tears'

She became red... and frowned...

But smiled again...when i kissed her and held her hand....

You have caught a moment in time, where there is no tomorrow, no yesterday, no politics just love between a parent and child. A nice place to be.
