Best Friend Poem by Quir Diing Jr.

Best Friend

Surely, can you recall me?
Nevertheless we were born a part
Different lands we came from
Like soldiers battling at war
I used to lived in lightly
Lot of love I found no where
Because they called me the fox.

Then I thought that
The grass is always
And should always remain greener
On the other side of the fence
I came to your place
But sooner shall I leave lot.

I am the wind.
Rarely do I stay firmly
What I wanted, I got
But, do you know what I wanted?
For our neighbours we choose not
But best friends are forever.

As I used to be lonely
You were like a brother to me
Remember how hard
To feel to be called an alien?
Which I did not heard from you
My dear comrade
How to make love, you showed me
And you point at pigeons
For they are the best kissers.

And how do I remember
You my dear pal?
For our next meeting will be rare
Remember the regular Math teacher?
Remember us on the supper queue
Waiting for the delicious dim sum
To be served?
Hopes and ambitions
For best friends are everlasting
Just like the life in heaven
You forgave me when I hurt you
Thank you and goodbye
For no words are for goodbye
At the death edge
You are my best friend.
