Beside You

im here beside you wishing we were holding hands
wondering where our love stands

you smile that smile that makes butterflies flutter
when i try to speak all i do is stutter

i wish you relized i can love you more than anyone out there
and i really want you do to more than just care

i want your love not just an attraction
not just lust but give me more than satisfaction

but here we are sitting just as friends
i pray to God that this isnt where ou story ends

but you love her and only like me
it used to be the other way around like it should be

even though im gone in you heart, your songs, and your head
one last kiss will aliven my heart, you know the one that is almost dead

but its a choice, chose me or chose her or maybe some other girl
just hurry up because hell is where i live at in the world

but ill go home without you again tonight
missing the way you used to kiss me just right

morning i wake up alone missing you holding me
and remembering all the times you made me so happy

never felt anything like this before
my heart has been pounding like thunder and its getting sore

but honey i love you alot and dreaming one day you will too
but you make the first move and please make it really soon

but in the mean time your here not thinking anything about me
we are just friends but i still love you, you see.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.
I say, Turn it out doors,
Into the moors.
