Beneath The Cloud Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua

Beneath The Cloud

And the clouds that persist here
This blackness draped over me
They seem to overstay their due
And block the light on my path
And the shadowing linger longer
Than the occasional refreshing

But I hear – there is never a cloud
Without accompanying bright light
That the view from the other side
They lie within the billows of glory
And the light bathes the summit
And reflect heaven’s magnificence
Shining the pathways of the valley

And these sorrows and troubles
The clouds and shadows cast over me
Move and pass before His presence
Within the cleansing winds of God
And they persist till I’m fully bathed
In full magnificence of His purpose
